Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)
Purpose
The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) addresses complaints of sexual harassment and related campus or workplace issues, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students, faculty and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities
- • Receiving and investigating complaints of sexual harassment
- • Conducting fair and impartial inquiries into each case
- • Recommending appropriate action based on findings
- • Maintaining strict confidentiality throughout the process
- • Providing support and counselling to complainants
- • Running awareness initiatives on harassment prevention
Types of Complaints Handled
- • Sexual harassment
- • Discrimination based on gender, caste or religion
- • Workplace harassment and bullying
- • Abuse of authority or position
- • Hostile working or learning environment
Students or staff with a concern are encouraged to approach the ICC directly and confidentially rather than routing sensitive complaints through informal channels.
